Terms & Conditions

By placing an order you are agreeing to be bound by our terms & conditions. Please read carefully. Orders are only accepted when the goods are dispatched. Any email sent to the customer beforehand is simply an acknowledgement of receipt – as opposed to acceptance – of the order.

We accept all major credit / debit cards showing the MasterCard or Visa Logo. Unfortunately we do not accept American Express.

We use an acquiring bank to process payments, we do not see your full card details and do not store your details, when you go through our checkout you will have a Barclays Payment page to enter your details, payment is then processed between your bank and ours, - we just get confirmation as to whether the payment / transaction has been successful or not, and details of the order.

- Secure Ordering
- Competitive Pricing.

All payments must be made in full before despatch.
All amounts shown are in pounds sterling.
All amounts shown include VAT where applicable at the current rate. We do not supply overseas trade.
We reserve the right to change/alter prices without prior notice, however, goods will be charged at the prices ruling on the date the order is placed.

Telephone Orders; We do not take orders over the phone, and prefer customers to place orders via our website, as when you create your order online it gives us an accurate log of your order details, which we can locate easily should it be necessary regarding any queries, and it also creates the invoice / receipt which we print off to enclose with your goods for your reference, which you won't get when placing over the phone and will only do so in exceptional circumstances

Prices on our website reflect the different cost structure of our internet business, therefore, prices in store may vary for equivalent products. Please do not request internet prices in store. Goods for our mail order business do not neccesarily come from stock held in store. If the items you require happen to be cheaper on our website, simply place your order on line for delivery or select 'Collect In Store' - the choice is yours. Staff are not there during shop hours to compare prices and work out what is going to be the best way for you to purchase your goods - this is upto the customer, and we are giving you the choice but please follow the correct procedure as stated.

Store Opening Times may vary at different times of the year, holiday times & Bank Holidays, so please call to check our current opening times, especially before travelling.

All products are exclusive of delivery charges which will be added as you go through to the checkout, Please Read Delivery Terms As They Form Part Of Our Terms And Conditions.
Please Note That If An Incorrect Country / Area is Selected, Orders WILL NOT be Processed Until  Further Contact Has Been Made With The Customer And Correct Delivery Charges Have Been Applied

Please provide a contact number– this is very important so that we can contact you if there are any queries regarding your order.

Should you wish your goods to be delivered to a neighbour / next door for example if you are out, (UK Mainland only) you can inform us by leaving a note in the box provided when placing your order, so that we have it in writing that you have requested this, although this will be done at the couriers discretion, and couriers will not always acknowledge these requests, and they will want a signature, and if no one is available to sign they will leave a card so that you can re - arrange delivery or collect from your local post office. However, please note that if you request the goods are left without a signature and the courier does so, they will be left entirely at your own risk, and we will not be responsible for any loss or damage under any circumstances, and there will be no exceptions

It may not be possible to apply notes / special instructions for delivery on items sent via Royal Mail. Some Couriers only allow a space for a maximum of 25 characters on their labels for instructions including gaps, therefore it may not be possible to apply lengthy notes for the drivers, so any such requests will not be included / added to the parcel.

C.D. Aquatics will make every effort to despatch goods ordered within 2 -5 working days of stock items, subject to clearance of payment.
Upon delivery, ALL items should be checked and inspected upon arrival and only signed for if delivered in good condition.
If a consignment or packaging is damaged in any way upon delivery it MUST be stated on the note at the time of delivery, you must then report this to us at once (within 24 hours) Photographic evidence will be required for our records and also for the courier involved. If this procedure is not followed, we cannot replace or change any damaged goods. We can appreciate that it is not always possible to check the contents of the package while the driver waits, therefore we strongly recommend that you sign and state 'unchecked'.

If customers wish to collect goods ordered themselves, simply place your order and tick the box provided as you go through the ordering process to say you are collecting the goods, and the delivery will be deducted if it was applicable in the first place. Please note you must wait for a confirmation email prior to collection, so that we can inform you when your order will be ready before your visit, otherwise you may have a wasted journey. Collections are available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays only, subject to the customer having received notification by email from us that the goods are ready for collection. Please see Collect In Store Details at http://www.cdaquatics.co.uk/delivery

Free Delivery for UK Mainland only applies on orders over the value of £50.00

On most orders despatched, we are able to use a consignment tracking system to find the current status of consignments, if goods are not delivered within 21 days please contact us direct on 01922 416284 so that checks can be made, and, if necessary, offer you options of alternative products or refund.

Payment Options
We accept all major credit / debit cards showing the Mastercard or Visa Logo.
Unfortunately we do not accept American Express.
The Authentication service offered by Mastercard & Visa is provided for your protection, please use it. Customers choosing not to register a password may result in orders taking much longer to process while further security checks are made, or may result in the order not being processed at all. This service enables retailers and banks to verify that card holders are genuine.

Return Of Unwanted Items
You have 14 days from receipt of goods in which you can return unwanted items.
Customers must bear the cost of returning goods unless an error on delivery of incorrect items sent for example, is on our part.
Responsibility for the goods is yours until we receive them back.
When returned items are received by us and have been checked thoroughly that they have been returned in good order, unused, as brand new, then and only then, will a refund be granted,.

We do not accept responsibility for goods broken in transit on returned items due to poor packaging or otherwise, it will be up to the customer to sort this out with the courier/postal service they have used.
We recommend that you use a recorded delivery service that requires a signature, as we do not accept responsibility for goods returned by a customer, but are not received by us unless proof of delivery or receipt can be provided.

Return Of Faulty Items / Product Guarantee

You have 30 days in which to return faulty goods, but this may be longer if also covered by a manufacturers guarantee.
Products that carry a manufacturers guarantee are covered by the terms and conditions of the manufacturer as stated, and can be returned, along with proof of purchase if faulty to us for exchange or refund during the warranty period. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused accidently, by neglect or misuse. All products still in warranty will be tested upon return, but please note that if no fault is found with your product, a refund will not be granted and a charge of £18.00 will be payable to cover collection and redelivery before your goods can be returned. We can arrange collection of goods if necessary (i.e. products still under warranty) but please note it is the customers responsibility to be available as arranged, if this arrangement is failed to be met by the customer it will then be up to the customer to arrange returns themselves, or pay the current 'collection fee' as set by our courier for us to arrange the collection again- we will only cover the costs once !

Small items returned to us as ‘faulty’ ... but are found not to be faulty upon return will be returned back to the customer subject to the customer paying the appropriate postage rate in place at that time, plus a small admin fee for us having to test items in the first place that turn out not to be faulty.
Products that are custom made or specially ordered are non returnable unless faulty.

Failed Delivery Attempts
If customers are not home when couriers or Royal Mail try to deliver orders, a card will be left for the customer to contact the local depot to re-arrange delivery, but please note that the depot will not hold on to parcels indefinitely, if customers fail to make contact within a reasonable time scale, the parcel will be returned back to C.D. Aquatics, and the customer will have to pay delivery costs again, to have their orders despatched again, alternatively a refund will be applied less initial delivery costs, and any costs incurred by C.D. Aquatics due to an undelivered item being returned to us – regardless as to whether the order initially qualified for free delivery.
Furthermore, we will not be responsible for goods undelivered due to incorrect or incomplete address details given. It is entirely the customers responsibility to ensure that correct and accurate details are given for delivery, if orders are returned back to us under these circumstances, delivery will have to be paid again to re-send to the customer, regardless as to whether the order was subject to delivery charges or not in the first place.

Cancellation
You can cancel your order before it is despatched by telephone, if however the item has had to be especially ordered or manufactured by us we reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking / handling fee.

If goods have already been despatched, the customer must bear the cost of returning the goods and it is also the customers responsibility to ensure that we receive the goods back in perfect condition, otherwise a refund will not be granted.
