Unfortunately, we are charged a higher price by couriers to certain areas, and for longer lengths / bulky items and this is reflected in delivery charges based on either your postcode, and /or the length/size of an item in your basket.

Couriers will require a signature upon delivery, and it is often usual procedure to try a neighbour if you are out (Uk Mainland only) or leave a card for you to either rearrange delivery or collect from the post office.
If you prefer that your goods are not left with a neighbour, please inform us prior to despatch.
However, please note that if you request the goods are left without a signature and the courier does so at their discretion,(they will not always acknowledge these requests and will want a signature)they will be left entirely at your own risk, and we will not be responsible for any loss or damage under any circumstances,- there will be no exceptions.
It is probably better to ask that couriers 'try next door if out' so that a signature can be obtained, or choose your place of work for example as your delivery address.
If other couriers are used they will often attempt re-delivery on two consecutive days before returning it to the depot and eventually returning back to us, in this instance you would have to pay the delivery charge required in order to get your goods despatched again and re-delivered, regardless as to whether your order initially qualified for free delivery, however if you prefer to cancel at this stage, a refund will be granted on goods returned.
It may not be possible to apply notes / special instructions for delivery on items sent via Royal Mail.
Some Couriers only allow a space for a maximum of 25 characters on their labels for instructions including gaps, therefore it may not be possible to apply lengthy notes for the drivers, so any such requests will not be included / added to the parcel.
C.D. Aquatics will make every effort to despatch goods ordered within 2 -5 working days of stock items, subject to clearance of payment.
Upon delivery, ALL items should be checked and inspected upon arrival and only signed for if delivered in good condition.
If a consignment or packaging is damaged in any way upon delivery it MUST be stated on the note at the time of delivery, you must then report this to us at once (within 24 hours) If this procedure is not followed, we cannot replace or change any damaged goods. We can appreciate that it is not always possible to check the contents of the package while the driver waits, therefore we strongly recommend that you sign and state 'unchecked'.

On most orders despatched, we are able to use a consignment tracking system to find the current status of consignments, if goods are not delivered within 21 days please contact us direct on 01922 416284 so that checks can be made, and, if necessary, offer you options of alternative products or refund.
If customers wish to collect goods ordered themselves, simply place your order and tick the box provided as you go through the ordering process to say you are collecting the goods, and the delivery will be deducted if it was applicable in the first place. Please note you must wait for a seperate confirmation email to say 'Ready For Collection' prior to collection, so that we can inform you when your order will be ready before your visit, otherwise you may have a wasted journey, please allow 1 -2 working days for collect in store items to be ready excluding Wednesdays & Thursdays when our shop is closed Please print off your order confirmation as you will be asked to provide this, so that we can check your order i.d, name and address. *Collect In Store is subject to stock availability, you can either call us on 01922 416284 to check stock, or we will inform you if there are any problems when we receive your order, as some items are shipped directly from our suppliers and are not carried as stock items in store. *Please note store opening times may vary at different times of the year, holiday times & Bank Holidays, so please call to check current opening times, especially before travelling, and note that collections are subject to the customer having received notification by email from us that the goods are ready for collection.
