These above ground filters combine mechanical and biological filtration to keep ponds clear and healthy.
Water enters the unit via a spray head which is evenly distributed over a foam sheet. The solid particles in the water are trapped in a foam sheet.
Almost solids free, the water passes through plastic biomedia where beneficial bacteria cleanse pollutants.
The amount of biomedia contained in the filter increases in direct proportion to the size of the pond/filter to support a greater number of fish.
PurifiedWater then passes up an outlet tube and back into the pond.
Use the viewing hatch to observe the internal operation of the filter, which helps to show if any maintenance is required.
Hozelock Cyprio Ecocel garden pond filters can be sited almost anywhere and teamed with the appropriate pond pump.
They will remove unwanted solids from the water and convert dissolved organic and chemical fish waste into harmless compounds.
In addition, the Ecocel Range of filters do not include a UVC, but can be combined with UVC units which will give guaranteed clearwater.
Ecocel filters are pump-fed, external filters, ideal for being partially buried adjacent to your pond or being positioned above ground if desired.
The filter may also be concealed at the top of a waterfall.

We offer free standard delivery on Hozelock Ecocel Filters to the UK Mainland for most orders that are over £50* (see exclusions below). Items that are considered larger than average will incur a delivery charge. Similarly, orders under £50 and are considered smaller items, will incur a delivery charge of £3.49 or £4.95 to UK Mainland.
*Larger items that are over 1 metre in length are subject to additional charges for certain areas – you will be notified if this is the case when you add the items to your basket. When you proceed to check out, then implement your delivery address and details, there will be a message explaining whether your postcode incurs extra costs before any money is taken. You can, however, email us if you have an issue with your Hozelock Ecocel Filters order.

In the unfortunate event of unwanted items, you have 14 days to return with a receipt. The Hozelock Ecocel Filters must be intact, and in complete resalable condition. A refund will not be issued until our checks determine that it is still brand new and unused. The cost of returning the {Product name} falls on the customer, unless there has been an issue on our end.
In the unlikely event of faulty items, you have 30 days to return the Hozelock Ecocel Filters and even longer for items with manufacturer’s guarantee. Proof of purchase must be received in order to obtain a refund or exchange. However, this excludes damages caused by accidents, neglect or misuse of the Hozelock Ecocel Filters. Tests will be conducted to see if the item is faulty; if not there will be a £18 charge for the redelivery of the item and to cover testing costs for a non-faulty item. Smaller items are subject to a normal delivery charge, plus an admin fee if found not to be faulty.
