V2 bio 600 fluidised sand bed filter

The V²Bio range of fluidised sand bed filters is now available from TMC. These new filters, which are suitable for both marine and freshwater applications, utilize the most efficient method of aerobic biological filtration available, and can be easily incorporated with any aquarium set up.

The versatile compact design of the V²Bio means it can be installed internally in a sump or aquarium or externally as a stand-alone or 'hang-on' filter and its specially designed media diffuser bowl ensures uniform fluidisation of the filter media.

The V²Bio is supplied complete with silica sand but it can also be used to fluidise other media and is ideal for use with phosphate removing media. V²Bio marine oolitic sand is also available separately.

There are three models in the V²Bio range : the V²Bio 600 suitable for aquariums up to 600 litres/130 UK gallons, the V²Bio 1000 suitable for aquariums up to 1000 litres/220 UK gallons and the V²Bio 1500 suitable for aquariums up to 1500 litres/330 UK gallons.
