King British Safe Guard makes tap water safe for fish. Safe Guard quickly and effectively neutralises chlorine, chloramines and heavy metals in tap water, preventing distress and gill irritation in fish.

• Chlorine and chloramines are powerful chemicals added to drinking water to kill bacteria to make tap water safe for human consumption. Left untreated, these chemicals can strip the protective mucus coating off fish making them susceptible to bacterial and fungal infections

• Safe Guard removes the excess ammonia created from the reaction with chloramine

• Safe Guard also coats the fish with a natural protective barrier of aloe vera. Fish can lose their protective slime through handling, fighting, shipping and other forms of stress
