includes brushes / flocor & alfa grog media,
1 1/2" drain with valve on each chamber,
in/outlet to suit customer, biological & mechanical filter for 4000 gallons.
This range of filters offer superb value for money, giving high performance with minimum maintenance, are efficient and easy to clean without having to get the media out, apart from the brushes, to wash.
There are no sponges or foams that clog, so avoids the frequent maintenance that is often required with foam filters, and eliminates the risk of loosing that all important bacteria, best seller.
On average, the maintenance involved with this range requires the brush chamber to be cleaned aprox. every 4 weeks, with the other chambers alternatively cleaned every 4 - 8 weeks, this can vary depending on fish stocks and feeding.
