Carib sea aragalive fiji pink sand is a calcium-rich aragonite marine substrate, packed with beneficial bacteria.
A large beneficial bacteria population dramatically reduces cycling time in new setups and helps process ammonia in established tanks.
Arag-Alive marine substrate provides calcium, carbonate, and beneficial trace elements to naturally maintain ideal pH and water chemistry. It is especially helpful when trying to maintain higher pH (8.2+).
Aragalive helps control dangerous ammonia levels and reduces nitrite and nitrate.
The sand never needs replacement. This is also the standard choice for reef aquariums at 1 pound per gallon.
